THE IBIZA CUPRA: THE ESSENCE OF SEAT

What is the essence of SEAT, you might ask? Well, in its purest form, it’s stunning design, amazing performance and state-of-the-art technology, which, when combined, creates the most dynamic package in its class. It goes from 0-100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds, yet average consumption is just 5.9 litres. The Portable System is a navigation and entertainment system and is removable for mobile use. The CUPRA is an enjoyable, dynamic car that’s perfect for everyday use.

MINIMUM WEIGHT, MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE

The Leon’s low kerb weight is one of its greatest strengths. Compared to its preceding model, the Leon is 90 kilograms lighter, weighing in at just 1,113 kilograms. We’ve noticed that a bodyshell that offers optimum safety and the best possible comfort has to be solid. The Leon’s bodyshell features a high proportion of high-strength and ultra-high strength steels, which, when sent into battle with the powerful and fuel-efficient TDI and TSI power units ranging from 1.2 to 2.0 litres displacement, make the Leon an all out animal on the road.

MOTORSPORT HISTORY

For many decades, SEAT has been firmly entrenched in Motorsport. The year after Motorsport began, in 1971, the SEAT 124-1500 had already scored its first win in a European Championship event and has racked up one success after another since then. In 2008 and 2009 SEAT won the World Touring Car Championship with the Leon TDI WTCC. And from 1996-1998 the brand captured the World Rally Championship three times in the two-litre class.
